[Nanbu Tekki Ironware]
Nanbu Tekki Ironware is a traditional handicraft made in Morioka City and Oshu City in Iwate Prefecture.
It was born out of the ""chanoyu"" (tea ceremony) that was popular among the feudal lords during the Edo period.
From blackish items with a typical ""iron"" texture, today there are colorful ones such as red and blue.

Nanbu Tekki Ironware does not have an iron smell, and brewing tea with boiled water gives it a mellow taste.
Rust-resistant and durable, it can be used for a ""lifetime"" if it is well cared for.
