Antique Ginger Beer Stoneware Bottle, The Scarborough & Whitby Breweries c. 1897. This antique stoneware bottle is in good condition. There are two chips on the lip and a small chip on the rim. There are no cracks or crazing. There may have been a repair made just under the rim. Please see photos above. The bottle stands 7” tall by 2.75” wide.


Scarborough & Whitby Breweries Ltd. North Street Brewery, Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Registered October 1895 to amalgamate the business of the Scarborough Brewery Co. and the Old Brewery Scarborough with 61 houses. Name changed above in 1897 when the Whitby Breweries were acquired.
