Noted
artist, historian, and a published author of two books, Illustrated Handbook of
Sewer Pipe Folk Art and The Pottery of Zoar.
In 1979,
Jack and Pat, his high school sweetheart, moved to the Bauer Haus in Zoar, and
filled it with an extensive collection of original Zoar pieces.
The listed
pottery was acquired at the Adamson Estate sale and contains the last original
works by Jack Adamson. These pieces are
signed and dated and removed from his art studio and are the last pieces that
he created or kept for his personal collection.
