Small child's trinket basket, measuring 5 inches high, 3.5 inches wide at base and 5 inches wide at center area.
Done in the bundle coiled method using wild rye grasses.
Seal skin piece was used at bottom for a start.
The intentionally split stitches are characteristic of the Alaskan Eskimo.
Some checkering of dyed, darker colors but somewhat faded with age.
Basket in excellent condition.
Closing cover has a knotted top.
This basket held small ivory toys or game pieces of the children.
