"Teeing it up from Downtown" is the title of this exciting piece of One of a Kind Encaustic Art featuring the love of the game of golf. Notice the cityscape in the background. This is an Encaustic Mixed Media Painting made with Hot Wax. Layers of hot wax, resin and colored paints are shaped and fused on to a Ceramic 6" X 6"  Italian Tile. The tile can be hung (indoors only) from tab attached to back of tile or propped up on an easel or on a shelf. Not framed. This is a one of a kind piece of art not a print, you can see the texture of the layers of wax and it adds such interest to the artwork with vivid color on the tile. Ray McEwan lives and golfs in the beautiful Coachella Valley of Southern California and can devote many hours to each piece of art he creates. The encaustic material intrigued Ray because of the depth and texture it adds to any subject matter.
