Artist Nicholas Volpe was commissioned by the Western Oil & Fuel Co. to draw  portraits of the 1963 Minnesota Twins.  The result were these beautiful chalk portraits of 24 players and coaches!  This is the color reproduction that Western Oil had as a giveaway when you bought x amount of gas.  The artwork is absolutely beautiful and on the back of each portrait are the player's bio and stats as well as an about the artist paragraph and then finally Western Oil and Fuel company

This print is of Bill (Shorty) Pleis.  It is in very good condition with no pin holes, tears, or writing present. There us slight discoloration on the upper right white border on the front and the same discoloration on the back.  Please zoom into pictures to see.  Thanks for looking!
