Vintage 'Tuscan China' bone china starter plate with pink rose pattern in black border (pattern number 7085), finely scalloped edges and gilded bands to the rim. Manufactured for Selfridge & Co of 400 Oxford Street, London by R.H. and S.L. Plant Ltd of Longton, Staffordshire, England and dating from the 1930s
Very good condition, no chips or cracks, there is very light usage wear commensurate with occasional use and some crazing but no wear to the gilding
