This new product is a great addition to the range, taking the know how of the larger Furlex technology and packaging it into a small space to cater for dinghies.
The design of the unit ensures hassle free furling under load thanks to twin stainless steel ball bearing units. In addition the unit can be adjusted to create the perfect exit angle from the drum, significantly reducing friction in the system.
The unit is manufactured from glass-filled composite with moulded-in stainless steel reinforcement. This includes the attachment toggle that will fit most dinghy bow fittings. Once in place, the drum cover can be easily adjusted to achieve the correct exit angle for the furling line. The maximum service load is 500kg
