DESCRIPTION 

This is a lovely vintage bridal cap and veil from the 1970s.  The cap is made out of a stiff mesh that is an ivory white color, and it looks like it is styled to fit over a bun.  The cap has a long, knee length tulle veil attached, and the tulle is white with white floral lace along the entire edge.  The bun cap has a comb on the underside to help attach it to your hair.

SIZING 

The cap measures 5 inches straight across in one direction and 6 inches across in the other direction.  When I took the tape measure along the upper curve of the cap, it was 11 inches from edge to edge when measured along the curve.  The tulle netting hangs down 53 inches past the bottom edge of the cap when measured straight down the center. 

CONDITION

This veil is in very good vintage condition! I did notice one tiny hole in the tulle (see picture).  I also noticed a couple very faint discolored marks on the lace edge of the veil (see last two pictures).  These are minor flaws that are not visible from a distance, so they shouldn't be noticeable when the veil is worn.

Shipping:

I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday.  I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible! 

PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!  

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.  

Clothing Condition:

The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned.  I will list any major flaws in the item description.  However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear.  Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged.  By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
