Here we have a great antique Aladdin Lamps CO. Cast iron table lamp. Still works I would believe this is late 1930's 1940's. It has plastic cord so unless the cord was changed out its not any earlier. Lamp is 15" high and the base is 8"x5" with a tray in the center. I thought it a trinket tray but from the design it could be an ashtray. See pics. very cool vintage piece for your retro or industrial design application.
