This is a lovely antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box   measuring 3" (8 cms) x just over 1 3/4" (4.5 cms). It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in very good condition and gilded inside. It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1872 with the silversmiths mark for Robert Thornton. It weighs 59 grams and the whole item is in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms - please see photos and email if you have any queries.
