Offered for sale is this original antique map by Thomas Kitchin titled "A NEW MAP OF STAFFORDSHIRE". 'Drawn from the Best Authorities by Thomas Kitchin Geographer Engraver to H.R.H. the Duke of York'. Thomas Kitchin was an English engraved and Cartographer, who became Hydrographer to the king.

Print Condition: (F to G) Fair to Good - This antique map has age related fading / foxing or browning etc. All print are very old and may have small mark and blemishes. Please inspect the image for a detailed inspection of the print. This print would benefit from restoration to remove the foxing spots.

Condition & Grading Information

(M) Mint – Like new, almost perfect

(EX) Excellent – No obvious flaws, sharp corners, clean and if postally used the writing does not detract from appearance.

(VG) Very Good - Minor defects such as album marks, signs of age and handling is acceptable that do not detract from appearance.

(G) Good – Noticeable defects, handling and wear apparent. Minor creasing or minor postal damage not detrimental to image.

(F) Fair – Obvious creasing, staining, small tears or damp damage evident. Significant edge or corner damage.

(P) Poor – Incomplete or image seriously affected
