DESCRIPTION
This is a lovely vintage bridal hat from the 1980s . The hat is made out of a stiff mesh that is a slightly off white color. The crown of the hat is covered in lace that has floral embroidery, lace trim, and pearl bead accents. The hat has a wide brim that is covered in sheer chiffon, and one side of the brim is turned up. There are white rosebud faux flowers and leaves accenting the turned up portion of the brim. The hat also has an attached veil that has three layers of tulle netting. The first layer hangs down the front and the other two layers hang down the back.
SIZING
The hat does not have a size tag. The hat measures approximately 21.5 inches around the inside of the hat, which should fit a size Medium hat size. There are also elastic loops on the inside where you can attach a comb to help secure the hat to your head. The brim is 2.75 inches wide. The tulle hangs down 12 inches from the edge of the brim in the front. In the back, the first layer of tulle hangs down 12 inches from the bottom of the tulle ruffle, and the second layer hangs down 43 inches.
CONDITION
This hat is in very good vintage condition. I did notice some slight discoloration on the underside of the brim in the back (see last picture), but it is VERY faint and not visible at all when the hat is worn.

Shipping:
I go to the post office every week day, Monday - Friday. I typically ship items out one business day after I've received payment, so if I receive payment on Friday, your item will go in the mail Monday (although if I receive payment early enough, I might get it in the mail the same day). If you need an item to be shipped right away, just let me know and I will do my best to get it out to you as soon as possible!
PLEASE NOTE: I will ship your item to the address listed on the payment, so please make sure that your address is up-to-date!
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I am happy to ship internationally, but please note that as the buyer, you are responsible for any taxes or duties your customs office might charge on packages coming from the USA.
Clothing Condition:
The large majority of the items in my store are vintage and/or pre-owned. I will list any major flaws in the item description. However, most vintage clothing has been around for several decades or more, and it may have some minor snags in the fabric, the occasional loose thread or other minimal signs of wear. Vintage items may also have raw seams that have not been serged. By purchasing, you are accepting that these items are used and may not be 100% perfect. However, if you feel I have overlooked a major flaw, please let me know!
