Here is an exceptionally well struck 1900 Philadelphia mint Morgan silver dollar that is certified by numismatic guarantee company (NGC) as MS67. The coin actually looks like a proof like + coin. There are (68) in MS67 and (8) in MS67+. This could be a 67 plus if it were to be sent in again for re-grading. Many 1900 dated Morgans are poorly struck and are not very attractive. This coin is an exception to that and is what is called a “grey brilliant” specimen. The 1900 dated Morgan dollar is elusive in true mint state condition and is not readily available in large numbers in circulated condition either. That leads many numismatists who have researched the date to believe that many of the Philadelphia mint dollars which were struck in 1900 were actually dated 1899, considering how readily available the 1899 is in all grades. This coin is very nice looking and could bring a big premium in a major auction. Just like we have done for several years, you would literally have to pay thousands of dollars in air-fare, many thousands of dollars in hotel accommodations and travel to numerous large commercial coin shows over several years just to get to “look” at coins like this, let alone buy one like this. This coin is not your average coin for the assigned number grade on the holder, but a superior coin for the grade with incredible high eye appeal looking surfaces and minimal contact marks from the minting process. We are PCGS, NGC and CAC authorized dealers and guarantee that this coin and its holder is genuine and as described
