We offer for your consideration this vintage, possibly antique Beatrix Potter's The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse.

This little book is a hard copy published by F.Warne & Co.Ltd
and printed in Great Britain by William Clowes and Sons Ltd.

This is an early edition, not a first, as it does not carry the 1910 first edition publication date.
This cream colored cover boards, but the spine has torn away. The corners of the book do show signs of wear (see pictures) The illustrations inside have held up very well.
Stewart Weaver may have been the books original owner, and his name is written in pen on the upper left corner of the inside front cover. Stewart's name also shows up in pencil on the front cover, in his own hand. The back cover has some undecipherable scribbles as well.

This book is complete, the pages have no tears, but they have yellowed just a bit over the years.

Still, if you are a collector of the early published editions of Mrs. Potters works, this little book will be a very nice addition to your collection.
