This detailed map of the Holy Land and a portion of Egypt depicts the Exodus from Egypt and the wanderings of the Children of Israel. It extends past the Sea of Galilee to Syria on the right.

The lower part of the map is elaborately engraved with a scene of the encampment and Moses receiving the Ten Commandments at Mt. Sinai. Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel flank the title cartouche. The map is further decorated with a convoy of ships bringing cedar for the building of Solomon's Temple, and Jonah and the whale.

An original map over 300 years old, not a reproduction. It is in good antiquarian condition with folds as issued and some toning and soiling, as seen in the photos.
