Like Miles Davis's "Sketch of Spain", it is a masterpiece of Jim Hall's masterpiece in the 70's, which is a jazz cover of the masterpiece of Spanish composer Rodrigo. Members include Paul Desmond, Chet Baker, Roland Hanna, Ron Carter and other talented jazzmen, and Steve Gadd, who was a leading sessionman in NY at the time, participated in the drums. It is a masterpiece that you can be sure of your ability to freely create sounds that match the label color of Rudy Van Gelder, who was in charge of recording, which can be heard with Roland Hanna's wonderful piano tone.

Established by the famous producer Creed Taylor in the latter half of the 1960s, the series "CTI SA" is the first SACD hybrid in Japan of the masterpiece of the famous label CTI Records, which produced many masterpieces of crossover / fusion in the 70s and 80s. -CD HYBRID SELECTION ".
The original recording engineer is Rudy Van Gelder (RVG), who is known as a master of jazz recording.

-Directly convert the master in the best condition copied from the original master tape of RVG Studio to DSD, and convert the DSD data to SACD as it is. SACD that faithfully reproduces the sound of the original analog sound source
・ The CD layer is also newly converted from DSD data to PCM.
・ Mr. Hiromi Wada supervised the series including mastering and SACD supervision.

* Sound source and mastering used:
-Uses a master tape in extremely good condition (a copy from the original master. A high-quality master that seems to have less deterioration in sound compared to the master tape of RVG Studio) that has been strictly stored in King Records.
