This pattern was first made in 1906 and probably discontinued around 1915. It is also shown with Cambridge and Paragon marks, as well as Holmes and Edwards. The first two frequently were used by marketers to provide premiums for manufacturers. Offered here is the seafood/cocktail/ shrimp fork. This fork which is used in eating little shellfish has many names, depending on where in the country one is. Far from the ocean and fresh shrimp it is the cocktail fork as in shrimp cocktail. Along coasts it is known as the seafood for shrimp, scallops, lobster and crab. In restaurants it is the shrimp fork. The 6 seafood/cocktail/shrimp forks offered here measure about 6". These are not pieces of new silver. They show the patina of as much as 115 years of careful use. There are the light scratches which constitute normal patina. There is no monogram. Silver is softly lustrous. There is no silver loss. The pattern is crisp and clear. These forks have been carefully used and well cared for. These forks come in a flannel wrapper which helps prevent tarnish. I polish all silver before listing on eBay. Please email with any questions before bidding.
