I have been honored to sell some of the estate of Mona Reisman Schoen.  There is a lot of info online about her and her talents and accomplishments.  Her obituary states:

Mona Reisman Schoen, a virtuoso violinist, died June 6, 2021, in Chicago Illinois. She was the devoted wife of the late William Schoen and beloved daughter of the late Fannie and Israel Reisman.

Ms. Reisman Schoen was taught by the greats Oscar Schumsky and Schmuel Ashkenasi among others. She always had a very eloquent sense of taste and never fell for exaggerations found in the music of some modern-day players. With her sisters, the late Shirley Klebanoff (pianist) and the late Barbara Reisman (cellist); The Reisman Sisters concertized during the 50’s and 60’s throughout the United States.

In later years, Mona Schoen Reisman was a principal player in the Chicago Lyric Opera. She and her late virtuoso violist husband, William Schoen (formerly the principal violist with the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra), performed many chamber music concerts together all over the world.

Another article I found said that:

Here's what we have in this lot:
Both of the units are cosmetically in good condition and have no cracks or breaks. The PSLX250H has a rubber disc on the top of the turntable. If you find that it does not work, you can certainly use either for parts.
Both machines have covers intact which is always nice.

These are both being sold "as is", so PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY.

NOTE:  THIS LOT WILL BE SHIPPED IN TWO SEPARATE BOXES FOR SAFETY IN TRANSIT AND BECAUSE I COULDN'T FIND A BIG ENOUGH BOX THAT THIS OLD LADY COULD HANDLE. THE AMOUNT QUOTED FOR SHIPPING IS FOR BOTH BOXES.

OF COURSE, IF YOU ARE LOCAL OR WANT TO MAKE THE DRIVE TO MILWAUKEE WI, YOU CAN SAVE MONEY ON THE COST TO SHIP.

Info on Vintagesellingvintage listings:

  • With the rule that anything listed as a fixed priced item will automatically be relisted after 30 days, I'm having a difficult time with the fees.  On lower priced items, it does not pay to relist it every 30 days on its own and be charged each time.  Therefore, if no action has happened by the final day or two by potential buyers, I will be ending the listing. So, please make sure to pick this up if you want it as it may otherwise disappear on you
  • Do make sure to check out my other listings, both active and unsold.  If you go to any active item and click on the completed marker on the left, all of my closed listings will show up.  Just let me know the item number and I will relist it for your purchase.  Again, thank you for your interest in VintVSageSellingVintage feedback over 1877 and VSV-TRADING CARDS feedback over 10,300 (check out both stores)
  • Condition is so often in the eyes of the beholder, I can believe that something is in terrible condition and you can think it's average. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description and let you make a more informed decision of the condition by your standards and not mine. This is a vintage piece and therefore very old. I will do my best to keep it in the excellent used condition it is in currently. However, I cannot say the same for my shippers. Please let me know if you would like to insure this item. If your buy(s) exceeds $100, I do require insurance.
