DESTINO (in lotta - tanto per cambiare - con i F4, anche se stavolta sono solo eteree riproduzioni olografiche, in una storia che tra l' altro ci rinfresca la memoria sulle origini del bieco e blindato personaggio, recuperato editorialmente per l' occasione in questo primo tentativo isolato e senza seguito di realizzare una serie tutta dedicata a lui, che vedrà la luce invece solo oltre un anno dopo, e con l'inverosimile onta della coabitazione con il rozzo e sgrammaticato Ka-Zar)


CONDIZIONI MOLTO BUONE, COSTOLA PIUTTOSTO USURATA CON ALONE VERTICALE DI STRISCIA DI SCOTCH RIMOSSA, L' ALBO NON E'  DI RESA

La cover di questo numero non è quella originale , forse giudicata troppo dispersiva, dell' albo americano di riferimento per la storia interna, ma è stata ottenuta dalla opportuna elaborazione redazionale di una bellissima pin-up a doppia pagina di Kirby a cui sono stati recisi ed asportasti i due quarti incomodi , ossia LA COSA e LA TORCIA UMANA, che non devono più neanche reggere il moccolo adesso che i due compari fornicatori hanno finalmente ufficializzato il loro vincolo in legame di spirito e carne davanti alla legge e soprattutto a Dio

Synopsis

Reading the news of Reed Richards and Susan Storm's wedding day, Dr. Doom plots to ruin it by using his emotion changing device to make the super-villain community (foe of the FF or not) attack their wedding service.

Even though Nick Fury and SHIELD are providing security, Thing and the X-Men must ward off an attack by the Mole Man and his Moloids. 

Reed, Sue and Johnny are attacked by the Red Ghost and his Super-Apes, until they are banished to another dimension by the arriving Dr. Strange.

With the initial attacks blunted, Dr. Doom increases the power enticing villains such as the Mandarin, Black Knight, Kang, the Awesome Android, and the Grey Gargoyle. 

While on his way to the wedding, Thor is attacked by the Super-Skrull whom is defeated by the Thunder God with the help of the Human Torch. Matt Murdock, spotting HYDRA agents trying to drive a missile into the wedding party changes into Daredevil and tries to drive it away. 

The arriving Avengers, Captain America and Hawkeye fight Cobra, Executioner, Enchantress, and the Mad Thinker with the help of Spider-Man.

While Daredevil is chased by the Black Knight, an assist by the X-Men is interrupted by the arrival of the Mandarin, Electro, Unicorn, the Melter and the Beetle, while Quicksilver battles the Human Top.

Soon things explode into an all out battle between the heroes and villains until things are made even worse with the arrival of Attuma and his invading fleet. 

Reed Richards is then summoned to the Watcher's citadel, where he is given a device that will allow him to send all his attackers away with no memory of what transpired. 

With the villains defeated, Reed and Sue are married off, while outside Stan Lee and Jack Kirby are asked to leave the ceremony as they don't have invitations.

Synopsis

As Dr. Doom is preparing for yet another confrontation with the Fantastic Four, Diablo suddenly appears and offers to form an alliance.

Doom initially declines, but is forced to reconsider when Diablo reveals he has captured Doom's childhood long-lost love Valeria.  

The three of them meet at Doom's castle in America. 

Diablo outlines his plan to use Doom's time machine to take over the planet Earth. 

Doom feigns interest just long enough to get Diablo in position to use the time machine against him, sending Diablo into a distant post-apocalyptic future. 

Valeria, now freed from Diablo's spell, has witnessed all of this and can see that Doom is no longer the boy she once knew.
