Le Solid State Logic SSL 2 est une interface audio USB avec 2 entrées et 2 sorties pour une utilisation à domicile ou bien nomade ; cet appareil très compact prend des allures de studio personnel tout en restant qualitatif avec un très bon prix (connecteurs Neutrik et potentiomèutres Alps).

Cette interface dispose de deux préamplis analogiques micros SSL agrémentés de la fonction Legacy 4K qui va apporter la couleur analogique des consoles SSL 4000 Vintage. Elle possède aussi des convertisseurs AKM qualiteux avec un taux d'échantillonnage de 192 kHz/24 bits maximum. Il y a également un contrôle de mixage de monitoring (possibilité d’écouter un mix de pistes déjà enregistrées avec ce qui est en train d’être enregistré), des commandes de mixage pour équilibrer le signal direct, des sorties de monitoring symétriques, un signal PC …

Le SSL 2 apparaît à la fois une interface audio de haute qualité, un contrôleurde moniteur et un amplificateur de casque. Et la connexion se fait via l'interface USB 3.1, moderne et rapide.
