Huge flawless 47.70 CTS Natural star rose quartz cabochon originating from Mozambique. This measures approximately 22.3 x 18.3 x 17.2 mm and is cut into an oval shape.

The stone has a beautiful perfectly formed 6-ray star caused by asterism. This phenomenon causes a moving star of light to travel across the surface of the stone when exposed to a light source, either artificial or sunlight.

Aside from the interesting asterism feature, this is a stunning rose quartz cabochon with a soft feminine pink coloring and an impressive glow.

Despite the stone being extremely large there is no apparent flaws or inclusions and this can be considered flawless or near flawless clarity. There is no discernable damage other than some light marks on the bottom of the gem. The condition of gemstone is excellent.
