Up for bid is a New York coin silver teaspoon by Bunnell
& Schreuder for Stone & Ball of Syracuse, working ca 1850. The spoon is 5 3/4 inches long and weighs 18 grams.
The spoon has no drop, rounded shoulders and an upturned rounded fiddle handle.
The spoon is monogrammed “H M Brown” on the handle front and “R” on the handle
back. It is marked “STONE & BALL”
with an [Eagle][BS][Arm & Hammer] trademark.
Condition on the spoon is fairly good. There is very minor bowl wear and small
dings, as well as normal wear of use. An
interesting coin silver spoon.
