Rare Early Hindu Garuda Stone Shrine sculpture possibly Chola Period. Very small shrine piece carved in a dark stone could be black granite. The figure is in a classic pose with the loss of a wing. The base has a Chola type stone tang for mounting. probably 11th c mounting included we have him attached with nano tape . Figure top to tip 5.65"w 1.75"d 1.25"
