Apple AirTag mount using your car's 12V outlet plug

Having an AirTag in your car can be useful in many ways! It's great for locating your car after you attend an event or when you come out from shopping at a mall and forget where you parked. It is also useful as an affordable and subscription free tracking device for your car with all the increase in car theft and crime. You can use it on rental cars you when traveling, keeping an eye on valet to make sure they don't take your car out for a joyride, and the list goes on.

It is recommended to look up your car make and model and search where all the 12v outlets are, we were surprised to find one of our car's passenger side had a hidden 12v outlet under the glove compartment!
A safe place to put it would be the trunk, usually there is a 12v outlet in the trunk and after the trunk can be locked for times you leave your car for long durations such as the airport.

These are 3D printed in house using FDM which will have layers that are visible to both the eyes and by touch.

The material we use is PETG which has many benefits over the cheaper and weaker PLA material you will usually find in other listings!

Material

Filament: Black PETG
-Resists degradation by UV radiation and other natural elements
-Recyclable since it is made out of the standard plastic PET
-High level of chemical resistance (this is why I chose PETG over the cheaper PLA material)
-Holds up to repeated force
-Higher melting temperature (PLA will melt and warp if left in a car on a hot day)
