For sale is a fine ladies’ coin silver calling card case with its original fabric interior.  The case is 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide by 3/8 inch thick and weighs 87 grams.  It is a perfect rectangle, with a full hinge at the left edge and a push-button catch at the right.  The exterior is decorated with engine-turning, with hand-engraved corners and a central cartouche.  It is monogrammed “Mrs. G.W. Pier” in the cartouche.  The interior has its original fabric interior, with a pull out accordion pouch on each side.  There are no visible marks.

Condition on the case is quite good.  The interior has water stains and minor flaking of the edging, but is otherwise intact.  There are just a few minor dings and normal surface wear.  A fine antique card case!
