These self fill tea bags can be used for any type of tea to your own taste - without the plastic coating that branded tea bags contain, a better, not so acrid, taste to your tea will be experienced. When immersed in water, the tea bags become very translucent allowing you to see your tea infuse properly. 

Our uncoated, biodegradable white paper tea bags are made from:

- ZERO PLASTIC CONTENT

- 100% natural cotton drawstring - simply pull to seal

and:

- are 100% bio-degradable and home compostable

- are packaged in a clear BOPP biodegradable non-plastic material (degrades to mainly water)

- contain zero genetically modified materials (an issue with some big brands!!!)

Empty tea bags that you can fill yourself with your own tea to your own strength. These tea bags are manufactured exclusively for spice.boutique, assembled and packed in Scotland, from uncoated, white biodegradable, paper. This means your tea bag does not contribute to landfill after use. Note that we are now upgrading the packaging of our teabags to biodegradable, home compostable bags and so your teabags may come in different packaging to the pictures shown. 

Convenient easy use

Fill the the tea bag with about one heaped teaspoon of your favourite tea, pull the soft natural cotton drawstring to close, and infuse the tea bag in boiling water. After preparing your lovely cup of tea to your own strength, dispose of the tea bag conveniently in any bin (be careful as it may be hot).
