nVidia Quadro FX3800 videocard

Here for sale is one Quadro FX3800 videocard.

High end single-slot videocard.

The card is in excellent outside condition. The fan and the cooler are in excellent condition too. However, the card has some (intermittent) issues. In late 2021 it began intermittently not to turn the monitor ON after resuming Windows from SLEEP/STANDBY mode. The computer works, but there is nothing on the monitor. The solution was to unplug and then plug in again the DVI video cable. Most of the time this "solved" the problem. Gradually this problem happened more and more often until recently the monitor was not able to turn on after several unplug and plug-ins. I pulled the videocard, cleaned it thoroughly, this eased the problem for a few weeks, but then it happened again and I decided to replace the card with a newer model.

The last known state of the videocard is: The computer boots fully in Windows and doesn't report any problem, but there is no video output on the DVI monitor. I have not tested any of the two Display ports.

Due to the above mentioned problem. I am selling it "for parts" / "spares or repair" or as "non-working" item.
It may work fine for some time, or it may not work at all. The two things I am 100% sure are working perfectly are the cooler and the fan, they are still in perfect condition.

1. ITALIAN customers, please be more patient. For unknown reasons deliveries to Italy usually take longer than to the rest of Europe, i.e. 12...16 days.
2. Good news for AUSTRALIAN customers, usually shipment to Australia is pretty fast, it takes no more than 8...12 days.
If a buyer purchases several items I will combine the shipment to reduce shipment costs.
