For sale is a very cute Antique 19th century primitive jointed wooden child’s arm chair with black paint. It has so much use in its past that the original weaved splint seat got some losses and damages. What remains are holding on well and displayed nice Antique patina. The high back features two round finales. Similar styled chairs are featured in interior paintings of the 1800s.

The little chair measures approximately 24” tall to the top of the back rest, 15” wide, 11” deep. The original wood structure is well maintained for this chair. Strong and stable. No damages or repairs is found. Some surface wears and discoloration are to be expected commensurate with age. Please see all photos from all angles for detailed condition.

Overall, a unique antique early American wooden children’s furniture waiting to be added to your early Americana/antiques furniture/ primitive kitchen collection. It would be great as a stand or a riser for your other items (e.g. flower pot, doll, Christmas object, etc) at your antiques country home!
