RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM:
If you are not entirely satisfied with any products then please return them in their original condition and packaging. Returned items should arrive back with us in no more than 30 days after receipt of the goods.
ITEM CONDITION:
Items must be in the same condition as when we sent them with all tags and packaging.
POSTING AN ORDER BACK:
Buyers are responsible for paying the cost of posting items back to us and they must get proof of postage from the post office in case the items should go missing in the post. If an order should get lost in the post when it is being returned we cannot provide a refund or exchange without proof of postage.
REFUNDS:
We'll send you an email to confirm your return has been received and that your refund has been processed. Refunds will be credited back via the original method of payment. All returns are processed within 3 working days of receipt. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is being returned is faulty, in which case we will refund the full amount including postage.
Items may not be exchanged for a completely different product. If you require a different product, you will need to place a new order!
Items that appear to have been worn or are damaged and are not fit for resale are not eligible for refund or exchange, without exception.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please note that we are a small store and every item is hand picked and checked before it is sent out. We absolutely will not refund if an item has obviously been worn or has been sent back damaged so please don?t try! Abuse of our returns policy will prevent you from shopping with us in the future.
Include the details of your order - Full Name, Address and Order Number (a copy of your invoice would be sufficient) within the package that you send back.
FAQs
I ordered a Satin Tie, but why is there a Polyester label in the back?
Satin is a fabric weave used to produce a fabric with a shiny smooth surface. The fibres used to produce a satin weave could be either Polyester or Silk.
Silk and Satin are not the same thing.
What is Bias Cut?
All of the ties we produce are cut on the bias- they are diagonally cut across the fabric. This strengthens the tie, allows it to have give and stretch when tying the knot and generally makes it feel less like a rope tied around the neck as the fabric stretches. Ties which are not bias cut are cheaper to produce, but have no give at all, are difficult to produce a decent knot with and are generally quite uncomfortable to wear. Many school tie manufacturers do not cut their ties on the bias. You can check yours, just give it a tug - if there is no give or stretch to it, it is not cut on the bias. Ours are entirely bias cut, the way a professionally tailored tie should be.
How long does it take to dispatch orders?
We aim to dispatch all orders with in 24 hours.
Can I change my delivery address?
Yes you may send a message with your order, or in the case that you forget to do so you can a message to us stating your order and where you would like it to be sent.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order any time up until the point of dispatch.
If I return an item how long will it be before I receive a refund?
As soon as we have received the returned product a refund will be issued with in 24 hours.
We do not accept returns for bespoke items, as these are made especially to specific customer requirements and not resalable.
