DESCRIPTION

A complete set of Churchill's post-war speeches. Published between 1948 and 1961. Complete sets of the post-war speeches are a lot more uncommon compared to his earlier war speeches as they were only printed in a single impression.

Subject matter of these speeches include the undoing of the British Empire, post-war recovery and his calls to unite Europe. In addition we see the start of the Cold War, and Churchill's return to Downing Street in the early 1950's. The final volume sees his resignation and subsequent global speeches.

Comprising over 250 speeches made by Churchill including his noted address 'The Iron Curtain'.

All dustwrappers are unclipped.

A smart set of this important speech collection.
