"Look Deep into Nature, and You will
Understand Everything Better"
Dear Fitness Friends,
Did you know that out of the major predators in the animal kingdom, humans are the weakest? Funny, isn't it?
Why are humans the weakest of all animals? I don't know the answer to that question, but I do know this. The animals are obviously doing something right to have that immense strength.
So why don't we train like animals do? What is it that animals do to train exactly?
Well, they walk, they run, they hunt, and they kill. That's what. What are we going to do?
We're going to perform movements that some of the pound-for-pound strongest animals do on a daily basis.
Prepare yourself for the most intense workout session you will ever have in your life, my friends when you get my Combat Fitness course.
To describe animal training with a word will be senseless, because there is no word in the languages of man to describe the ferociousness, the intensity, the sheer PAIN of animal training.
This is why MMA fighters are so Tough & Strong, They Train Like ANIMALS!!!
For those who get or got my Combat Fitness Course.....look at the animal movements.
You Don't Know Jack
The year was 1963....John F. Kennedy was the President, the average cost of a home was 12,650, gas was 29 cents a gallon.....
And a housewife/mother pushes her child in his crib to the front of the black and white TV.
There, the child would love to watch the dog and she could do her daily workout with the legend of fitness...
Jack Lalanne.
Jack Lalanne died just a few years ago at age of 95, but his legend lives on.
He didn't build his superman strength with weights alone.
He employed body weight and gymnastic exercises.
The prove is in any photo or clip you chose to check out on YouTube. You'll catch him doing perfect handstands, bridges, finger push-ups and so on.
Exercises you don't see many bodybuilders do, OR can do.
Here's a taste of his feats of strength...
1956 Age 42: Set a world record of 1,033 push-ups in 23 minutes on "You Asked for It, a TV Show with Art Baker.
1959 Age 45: Completed 1,000 push-ups and 1,000 chin-ups in 1 hours and 22 minutes.
1980 Age 66: Towed 10 boats in North Miami, Florida filled with 77 people for over a mile in less than 1 hour.
1984 Age 70: Handcuffed, shackled and fighting strong winds and currents, towed 70 boats with 70 people from the Queen's Way Bridge in the Long Beach Harbor to the Queen Mary, 1 ½ miles
And believe me there are MANY more.
P.S. I was that child in the crib who loved the dogs, and it was my mother who did the workouts.Bruce Lee used the Age Old Practice...
of power postures in much of his training. This is a popular form of gaining incredible strength and tone in the arts. You might know them as static contractions.
You see, these exercises can, make the blood vessels feeding your muscles....STAND OUT. What's more their blood pressure dropped.
I just read that a British study utilizing these type of holds, increased the size of arteries by...11 PERCENT.
This will result in a more toned if not shredded look to your body....hence Bruce Lee.
There are MANY other benefits to this training for both health and ANY combat strength training.
Holding various postures helps you move with grace, balance and power.
You learn to align your body properly and the correct alignment leads to better overall movement throughout the day, and in the arts as well.
Ballet dancers hold postures for a time and no one ever questions the grace, flexibility and power these performers exude.
The same hold true when an athlete practices Power Postures for his chosen sport or art.
That's why I teach MANY of these in Combat Fitness that I employ for NOT just power or a better body....BUT for excellence in the Martial arts.
Give this a try and you'll feel me....it's the push-up test
If you don't think push-ups are worth doing - try this simple test, get into a push-up position and hold the push-up position for 5 minutes.
After one minute most people will know-that they are in for four more minutes of pain.
Just imagine if you put your feet up on a chair, or try it one handed!!!
FYI, this is great for a bad back as well as develop an iron core.
