This set has been fully restored.
A stylish set of four Art Deco dining room chairs, in oak from 1920, made in the Netherlands by the Amsterdamse School. They have coil spring seats, which have been re-webbed, and any seat springs that needed to be repaired/secured have been done.
Condition: Excellent - restored
The first 5 pictures are the chairs having been restored. I tried to take some close ups of certain details (like the feet) and the new fabric with the black decorative tacks which bring out the feel and the ebony-like accepts of the Amsterdam School Style, with the Art Deco fabric. The last picture are the chairs are as we found them. The oak frames are in very good condition with a nice warm patina and normals signs of wear including light surface scratches, the original spring seats have been repaired, and the chairs have been re-upholstered with Brunschwig & Fils Angles Art Deco designer fabric in tans and green. The ebony-like upside down tear-drop on the seat backs is made from another wood called "Coromandel" painted black to resemble ebony. This was a customary practice of the Amsterdamse School where they incorporated very precious woods as accents on the pieces. The feet of the frames were worn in places, but they have also been repaired & refinished to bring back the ebony-like details of their beautiful restored state.

This set will need to be shipped in pairs, and it may have to be sent by freight. There is the possibility to ship them in pairs by UPS Ground, if the dimensions can be negotiated properly.
These chairs would either ship by freight, or possibly by UPS Ground if they are paired in 2 shipping crates. Please contact us for actual shipping costs to your location.

We do not offer international shipping for these chairs. If you are from abroad, you can arrange for a shipping company to pick-up and ship to your location.
