Rare antique wall assembly with a very pretty wood case, the original two metal bells, and the striking mandrel.  I am not going to open this up, I think a collector will want to be the first to open it, it feels tight and heavy so I assume the internals are intact, but this is clearly marked with its Western Electric Company New York Chicago badge, and a approx 4 foot input wire is still attached going into the bottom/wall side.
