For sale is a unique Antique 19th century victorian era porcelain/ceramic/Staffordshire match and cigar stand with beautifully sculpted hunting scene. It features familiar hunting essentials such as musket, hunting bugle and bag, riding jacket and hat as well as a large hare laying against a tree stump. A highly rare example of early ceramic work that cleverly mix the sculpture element into a gentleman’s desk top essential. The scene is covered extensively with gilt highlights which gives it a very brilliant and attractive shine.

It measures 5” tall, 7” wide, and 5” deep (at the foot). It is in good antique condition with a small loss to the rim of the hat. Otherwise, rather perfect. No cracks or hairlines is detected. appropriate surface wears and manufacturer imperfections are to be expected. Please check photos from all angles for details.
