PIRELLI 100/90-19 MX HARD 57M TIRE
Pirelli & C. was founded in Milan in 1872 by the engineer Giovanni Battista Pirelli, with the aim of producing technical items in vulcanized rubber.
Basically it consisted of rubberized canvases, transmission belts, sleeves and rubber fittings.
in 1897 the Flexus type bicycle tire was patented.
Two years later, Pirelli put its first tires for motor vehicles on sale, in this case for motorcycles, followed in 1901 by those for cars.
The first set of experimental tires for automobiles was made by Pirelli in 1900, commissioned by Prinetti & Stucchi, to equip their prototype of a four-engine quadricycle, designed by Ettore Bugatti.
In the 1920s the presence in car racing began, which still continues with the commitment in Formula 1, in Gran Turismo, in Rally, in the Superbike motorcycle championship.
Today it is one of the leading global operators in the tire sector, together with Bridgestone, Michelin, Continental and Goodyear, with a commercial presence in over 160 countries.
