The Tube
True 3/8" O.D. diameter Snack Stick stuffing tube for
Chop Rite and Enterprise cast iron Sausage stuffers. (aka wine press)
Made of stainless steel.
Measures 7 1/2" long. 1 9/16" (40mm)
base diameter. End opening is 3/8" (9mm) for stuffing very slim
casings as small as 16mm diameter. A great size tube for sheep casings,
breakfast links, slim jims, pepperoni sticks, buck sticks, snack sticks
etc.
The Shim
Heavy duty shim for 4 Qt Chop Rite sausage stuffer
This nylon shim is heavy duty and presses the meat or product down into the unit with minimal escaping from around the edges. Much more efficient than just using the steel plunger.
Diameter of this shim is approx 6 1/2". (Please measure. We also 8 1/4" shim for 6 or 8 qt stuffers)
Made to last for many years like your sausage stuffer. Fits the old style cast iron Sausage Press. Fits 4 quart units that are similar to the one pictured. AKA lard press and fruit press. Fits other brands of similar cast iron stuffers. Stuffer pictured is not included in purchase.
***When you use the shim under your plunger you will see an immediate difference. Less meat escaping back up the side of the tank.
