Yes, it's true!  This original Shell for the caboose from the EARLY Electronic set WAS NEVER INSTALLED on a frame.

Lionel passed a number of them to Madison Hardware due to low sales.  It has been WAITING for YOU!!!

Decals are mostly missing...Only a small part of one remains.  Some window trim and original plastic inserts have been lost.

BUT LOOK AT THE FRAME ATTACHMENT TABS - TOTALLY un-bent!!
