These three postcards were produced by Cameo Stamps Ltd of London, marking the special stamps issued by Royal Mail for Christmas 1970. The images came from the de Lisle Psalter in the Arundel Collection at British Museum. Affixed to each card is the corresponding postage stamp, cancelled with special “First Day of Issue” mark – 25 November 1970 – for Bethlehem, Llandelio, Carmenthenshire. It is an interesting historical fact that these stamps were the last to be issued with “old money” values. In February the following year UK converted to £p (new pence).
