Description

Here is an antique / vintage box which originally would have held sewing implements or tools inside.

There is space for a thimble, and other tools in the velvet base, and packets of needles or similar in the silk underside of the lid.

Red overall in colour.

There is a name on the back of the box 'Finnigan - Manchester'.

It measures approx 5. 3/4 inches x 3. 1/4 inches x just over 1 inch in height.

The exterior of the box is leather but is very marked and also has some white paint on it.  The top lid doesn't fit flush with the base and therefor the push button closure doesn't work work as it should do.  Inside is ok just a little wear to the velvet.
