It is signed with and unknown maker's mark and tests as silver.

Although it is unmarked, you can buy with confidence knowing all silver 
items, whether marked or not, undergo thorough testing before listing.

Contrary to popular belief, U.S. law does not require precious metal jewelry to be 
stamped with its precious metal content.UK law requires sterling silver items over 
7.78 grams be hallmarked unless the mark would spoil the appearance of the item.
