SUPERB ANSETT AIRLINES / SYDNEY 2000 OLYMPICS MEMORABILIA
Presenting an exceptional set of eight airline pins presented on their original display stand produced to promote Ansett Australia as the Official Airline Team Partner for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
The eight jumbo jet shaped pins include two Ansett planes, one with Olympic themed artwork, United Airlines, Air New Zealand, Malaysia Airlines, Lufthansa, South African Airways and Thai Airways. The pins are presented on a specially designed acrylic stand which has a wonderfully dynamic curved form.
SIZE: This impressive piece stands approx 300mms tall, measures 280mms in length and 95mms in width. Each pin measures approx 52mms in length x 17mms in height.
CONDITION: This original set are presented in very good vintage condition with no breaks, losses or repairs. There are some exceptionally minor scuffs to the display stand from storage, noticeable only on extremely close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been very well cared for and presents wonderfully.
