Ouro Wood Carving - Sancho Panza.

Spanish Wood carving - dimensions are ; 9 5/8" high , with a base of 2 7/8" X 2 1/8" . This carving is of a light weight , light tawny brown colored natural wood . Ouro is a Spanish company which has been extant for many years . This piece , like all of their works is of a character from 'Don Quixote' , Sancho Panza , Quixotes squire and sidekick . It is marked on the underside with the Ouro name , country of origin and production number . These pieces are charmingly carved caricatures of the dramatis personae of the story . Some are finer than others and this piece is one of the more finely done .
