Gentlemen,

Offered here is this Vietnam Era Flying Jacket, also known as "WEP" jacket made by Kings Point Mfg. Co., Inc under contract DSA 100-70-C-0345 in fiscal year, 1970.

All parts are original to the jacket and it is in amazing condition considering it is over 53 years old. Talon zipper and snaps works perfectly. Knits are solid, which is extremely rare in these jackets. It has some dirt from being stored many decades and a good wash would be recommended. It comes in a highly desirable size 46L.

Originally designed as an undergarment for an anti-exposure suit, it featured trousers that attached with buttons. Due to the lightweight and comfort of this jacket, it quickly became one the favorite amongst the USN/USMC pilots.

This jacket belonged to USMC Capt. Dave Mourhees, he was a combat helicopter pilot during Vietnam war.

These jackets are hard to find in this condition and this one is even named. This will be a great addition to any Vietnam era display or a solid wearer.
