Saint-Gobain Formula's British Gypsum Fine Casting Powder is the brand's most used and widely recognised Plaster. The Plaster is off-white in colour and is quarried and calcined within England. It can be used for fibrous plasterwork production and most other general casting appliances. It is a stronger plaster than casting Plaster and Plaster of Paris and is therefore applicable to most household jobs involving Plaster.
All Formula branded plasters are quarried in England. Transported directly to ourselves from the manufacture, these plasters have never been on a ship or plane, their carbon footprint could hardly be lower. If disposed of correctly it is recyclable, the waste stream is used in the manufacture of plasterboard, for instance, and as gypsum, it is one of the few materials in the world that can be recycled again with no discernible degradation to the final product.
