For sale is a Canadian fiddle pattern coin silver teaspoon by George Savage & Son, Montreal, 1837-1851.  The piece is 5 3/8 inches long and weighs 17 grams.  The spoon has a swaged arch drop, flared shoulders and a downturned arched fiddle handle.  The spoon is monogrammed “EW” on the handle front.  It is marked [Bust][GS&S][Lion Passant] as shown.

Condition on the spoon is fairly good.  There is very minor bowl tip wear and normal wear from use. An interesting old Canadian spoon!
