For sale is an Antique 19th century Victorian era Cast Iron shallow tray with nice gilt surface over a highly detailed relief casting in the form of a fisherman’s catch: four fish lying in a woven basket over a fishing net. The casting is so detailed that you can see each fish scale and their muscle tone. Very unique piece and certainly reflect the esthetics of the Victorian era. Great as a display by itself or to hold your small treasure.

The bowl measures 5” by 3” at the rim of the bowl. The gilt covers both sides of the tray and has little losses. A few specks of missing gilt reveals the black colored iron material within. There is no cracks, dents, or any other damages that I can find. Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please check all photos for detailed condition.
