Based on 'The Peacock 'At Home'' by A Lady. Will eleven coloured plates by Alan Aldridge. Verses by George E. Ryder.
Alan Aldridge was a British artist and illustrator, best known for his psychedelic artwork for books and record covered by The Beatles and The Who.
CONDITION
In the original publisher's illustrated paper covered boards binding. Externally excellent with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Light rubbing to the spine of the first volume. With Claire Powell's bookplate to the front pastedown of the first volume. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. With thirty-nine coloured plates.
