For sale is a vintage leather dress belt with a cool old brass
Indian head buckle, as is. The belt
itself is 47 inches long by 7/8 inch wide, made of brown leather. It has 11 holes (2 added), and could be worn
at 37 to 47 inches. The buckle is 3 inches
long by 1 1/4 inches tall. It is gently curved,
and the top has an embossed Indian chief head with peace pipes and tomahawks. It has a golden brass color, and is not
marked. The leather is also marked “IMPORTED
ENGLISH COWHIDE”, among other things.
Condition on the piece is fair. The buckle is quite worn, as is the leather,
with some damage around some of the holes.
The buckle could easily be transferred to a different belt, though. An interesting vintage belt.
