Lionel 481-6 Collector Assy's, LESS ROLLER, FOUR PIECES, NOS, EXC, incomplete

These original Lionel parts were pulled from a box with hundreds of factory rejects.  Lionel apparently had serious issues in assembling these correctly!  Many were broken, missing parts, or had the spring jammed between the rivet and the frame.

These are complete (except for the roller) and move easily.

Simply insert the roller, straighten and square the frame to close it - and it's ready to install in the truck.

Should not require more than a pair of needle-nose pliers to complete this process.
